Are you aware that roses grown from seeds won't look like the parents? Only wild roses still look like the parents if grown from seeds. In this sense any seed from any hybrid rose is 'un-named'. If you take seeds from any rose that is not a rootstock (or wild rose), that's unnamed as far as patent on roses is concerned.
My father died a year ago and to remember him my sisters and I decided to grow a rose and name it after him They are in Britain and I had them sent rose seeds with naming instructions etc (from a British company) - unfortunately these unnamed seeds cannot be shipped to me in Australia, and so I was wondering where I could get 'un-named' rose seeds here (I'm in Melbourne VIC) Thanks in advance for any help!
