Now they start to post messages into this board. I think I have to close access to unregistered people to stop this. They use a tool to do this spamming. This tool is also a virus that hijack others' computers and spam from the IP address. So blocking IP is not feasible as the IP address changes constantly. | ||

There is a very complex web of interests in the game. Spammers get small amounts of money by sending ads for clients. The carrier network owners gets money for the traffic. The US government and politicians gets taxes, donations and kickback from big companies. Small Internet companies charge clients like us for traffic cost ... Imagine that Spam is gone tomorrow, lots of people get a lot less money and we will be all happy. We are the one who have to pay for all that just because it exists. | ||

I have to agree Dao. Can't see what they get out of it. Surely people don't buy into what it is they sell. Mine get chucked out unread if I don't recognise the sender or subject. Cheers Judy | ||

I got hundreds of messages from spammers sending ads to me via this feedback form! These worms are created by spammers to automate spamming across the Internet. While we have to wait for authorities to capture and jail all these people, I have put a hack in to slow this down. Now people need to check on the "I am not a spammer" box to get the message through. Imagine that some idiot has gone through the trouble to set up an automatic spamming configuration just to target this feedback form! They must be nuts! Dao |
